Security Systems Policy
The Security Systems Office provides a quality service in relation to the administration of the Security Systems Policy (see link below). Through the implementation of this Policy, and working in partnership with the security industry, there has been a continuous reduction in false alarm calls, which has led to an improvement in the efficiency of police officers attending criminal incidents.
The office also provides CCTV advice at all levels; ranging from Local Planners/ Architects to members of the business community. Advice is sought on data protection issues.
In-house police alarm systems are also purchased, repaired and controlled from this office.
