Female Applicants

Experience has shown on a national basis that women benefit by familiarising themselves with the national fitness test before participating in the actual test. To help with this we hold Female Fitness Familiarisation Sessions for successful applicants. These are generally held on a monthly basis on a Tuesday evening commencing @ 5pm. We are in the process of developing a women’s network within Durham Constabulary and actively support gender issues. In support of work/life balance we have developed a number of policies including the opportunity to work part time on appointment.
